LGBT stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender.
Anyway, I participated in the Day of Silence. Deanna (above) did as well, and so did four other friends. It was lots of fun, even though there where some idiots who where kindof negative about it. All well, there was alot of laughing.
Anyway, I had photography today, and I FINALLY got to use the 38mm lens I've been dying to use all week. It was amazing -I jizzed.
I do quite like this. I'm not entirely happy with it (I never am), it I prefer it to my other photo from today.
It reads:
The National Day of Silence brings attention to anti-LGBT name-calling, bullying and harassment in schools. Each year the event has grown, and now hundreds of thousands of students participate to encourage schools and classmates to address the problem of anti-LGBT behaviour. Founded in 1996, the Day of Silence has become the largest single student-led action towards creating safer schools for all, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

I love this. I love the idea of Day of silence, and I wish I had known about it earlier. Ithankmygirlfriendforshowingme.
I love the shot/concept, too. The only think is that the bottom image/text is a little blurry, but it's still great. It's only blurry on the left side. Maybe it was being held at an angle with a low aperture? At the same time though, it gives it some character. It' snot just a scanned paper. It's a photo of the sign being held.

This is a very powerful image. <3
